WIN A UK GHOST STORY FESTIVAL BOOK BUNDLE THIS FEBRUARY!

Dark bleatings, my fabulous tribe! Pssst…you like free books? Our buddy Alex is here with a post AND a competition today. Enjoy!

The UK Ghost Story Festival returns for the fifth time in 2025, with both online and in-person event weekends, and we’re delighted to team up with Happy Goat Horror to give away two Festival book bundles for two lucky winners!

The online weekend allows you to get your dose of spooky chills without leaving the comfort of your own home, and serves up a range of interviews, talks and workshops from 14th-16th February. The event will feature headline slots from Essie Fox (The Fascination, The Somnambulist), Sara Gran (Come Closer, The Book of Most Precious Substance), T Kingfisher (The Twisted Ones, What Moves the  Dead), AG Slatter (The Crimson Road, The Briar Book of the Dead) and Ashley Thorpe (Director, Borley Rectory).

The in-person event runs at Derby’s Museum of Making from 21st-23rd February, with headline interview slots from Evelyn Hollow (TV’s Uncanny, The Atlas of Paranormal Places), Rosie Andrews (The Leviathan, The Puzzle Wood), Edward Parnell (Ghostland) and Susan Stokes-Chapman (Pandora, The Shadow Key) plus Mark Norman (The Folklore Podcast) presenting his Zoinks! The Spooky Folklore Behind Scooby Doo talk.

The event will also be launching its first anthology, Spirit Seasons, featuring ten terrifying tales from Festival participants, with stories from Tiffani Angus, Charlotte Baker, Andrew David Barker, Charlotte Bond, Penny Jones, Benjamin Langley, Elizabeth Lee, Alison Moore, Teika Marija Smits and Megan Taylor.
