For Authors Attending World FantasyCon

Dark bleatings, my lovelies. This is just a quick one today for those who’ll be attending the World Fantasy Convention in Brighton this weekend. French Press Publishing (owned by Stephen Kozeniewski and assisted by me, a bleaty little goat – an organised and dedicated one, I assure you) are running a pitching session for authors looking for homes for their work.

In a nutshell, Stephen is looking for the next great thing in horror and/or sci-fi, and he’s made the insane decision to let me consider pitches too, so I’m on the hunt for anything awesome that reasonably fits under the horror banner. I like witches quite a lot, for what that’s worth. We’ll consider novels, novellas, collections, and maybe even non-fiction if it’s horror related.

French Press Publishing has put out numerous works over the last few years, including Imadjinn Award Winner ‘You’re Mine’ by Somer Canon, and British Fantasy Award Finalist ‘Millionaires Day’ by Kit Power (good luck this weekend, Kit!).

We’ll be in the Osborne Room at 8pm on Thursday, 30th October if you’d like to come along. We advise emailing to secure a slot first, but do feel free to come along if you’ve seen this post a bit late and couldn’t contact us beforehand, we will do our best to fit you in.

Full details are in THIS POST RIGHT HERE, SONNY JIM and please do check it out because Stephen has put some pretty important information in there.

Like don’t bother him in the bathroom. He seems to feel really strongly about that. I don’t know why, I love making friends in the bathroom.

Can’t wait to see you all there!

Bleeeeeeat!
